Dan McCarthy

Daniel McCarthy joined Big Bolt, LLC in November 2019 as Chief Financial Officer. As a vital member of Big Bolt’s Executive Team, Dan is dedicated to enhancing the company’s financial performance and maximizing enterprise value for shareholders of the company and maximize enterprise value for all shareholders.  Alongside managing all financial aspects, Dan also oversees M&A, HR, Production & Quality.

Before his tenure at Big Bolt, LLC Dan served as the CFO for EIQ, a B2B Media Company headquartered in Chicago, IL, with 23 brands spread across North America. During his time there, he played a pivotal role in establishing and consolidating the corporate accounting and FP&A function in Chicago, consolidating 5 acquisitions completed under his leadership.  Prior to EIQ, Dan held positions such as Corporate Controller and Ironform Holdings, North American Sales Controller at Bosch Power Tools, and began his career in consulting at PriceWaterhouseCoopers.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Dan enjoys traveling, watching and playing sports, and cherishing moments with his family.

Dan is an alumnus of The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
